| Moscow — the capital of Russia, the economic, political and cultural center of the country. It is home to about 13 million people. Moscow occupises a huge territory, its diameter is about 35 km.Moscow was founded at the embarkment of Moscow river at the beginning of the 12 century by Price Yury Dolgoruky.
The first fortress in town was the Kremlin. Now it’s the center of the city, residence of the President Vladimir Putin and architectural and historical monument at the same time. Today Moscow is dinamic cosmopolitan city with a lot of atractions where ancient monuments and 21-century skyscrapers stay against each other. The city is famous for the world-class restaurants, great shopping for top brands, musical concerts and world-known Russian balet. |
